wow i won 1st place in the contest xD Dmce = draw my character entry (this was made in Procreate, NOT scratch ) Thanks for top loved, didn’t know it was possible but it happened xD 2nd most popular project on this account now I am emotionally drained by this project ;; I was about to give up on this entirely and just post my abandoned wips and attempts at this dmc, but last night, and this morning, I managed to make one final attempt and hey, I managed to finish it! I rarely make fully finished artwork, usually I make something, the sketch looks good, then the more hours I put it in the more I hate it and the more messy it gets until I just restart. Then the cycle continues. In this case, the cycle repeated itself over a dozen times. That it my struggle ;: if you combine all the hours I spent on this project, it’s close to, or maybe more than 20 HOURS. They aren’t all bad, I liked the sketches, but I couldn’t force myself to post something as the official entry if I didn’t like it. Most of the art just seems off to me and no matter what I did, I couldn’t fix it. No joke, was most happy with the drawing do the guy crying which took me 10 minutes to draw rather than the attempts that took me hours. Luckily I made something last minute. Feel free to comment whatever or disagree with my personal feelings towards my own art, but understand that they are just that, my personal feelings. Anyone who knows me, especially @komponera, know this is just how I am every time I make art. I have high standards for myself, which can be good but also bad at times. .. Well, through this endless process, I learn my weaknesses as an artist which is good.
