Aaa sorry for taking so long but I started going to school in person recently and joined debate so I haven’t had much time to get things done- But here is my entry, I made up a story for this character, what I’m thinking is they’re the guardian of a small cave. They’ve guarded this particular cave for centuries, but are often plagued with longings to visit the outside world. But the problem is, they can’t leave the cave unless someone chooses to take their place and watch the cave for them. So they’ve been spending the past few years trying to find a person to guard the cave in their absence. “I paced the mouth of the cave, watching the hikers intently as they scaled the side of the mountain. As they neared the top ever so slowly, I sat down on the rocky ground, waiting for a head to poke over the ledge. The sun had almost disappeared, and I shivered. Evening, out of the blistering sun, was the perfect time for hikers. I curled up when suddenly... ‘Hey, there’s some stray cat up here!’ I looked up to see one of the people looking down at me, brows furrowed in concern. The other one had just made her way onto the ledge. ‘Just leave it, Bill, you’ll catch rabies if you touch it!’ They walked hurriedly along, leaving me just sitting there. Ah, there was always tomorrow.”
