These are long chapters so if you want a brief summary, read below. So basically, Splash, Hawk, and Flower are the prophecy cats but only Hawk and Flower know. Splash is playing with her denmates when they overhear Stargazer and the healer, Acornlight whispering about a prophecy. Then Hawk goes out with Stone, his best friend and starts thinking about his past. They pick marigold and meet a hawk on their way back, and Silverwing and Leafspots go to help them. Flower goes on a patrol with Silverwing, Leafspots, Sun, and Mosstail. She catches a vole and then Silverwing and Leafspots go to rescue Hawk and Stone. Hawk remembers the prophecy in the Cave of Shining Stars. Flower meets Hawk in the Middle Realm, where nearly dead cats go in their sleep but come back if healed or go to the Tribe of Endless Greenleaf. Since they are prophecy cats, they can travel between the living, the dead, and the half-and-half. (That sounded weird) They don't know that Splash is the cat, but they will find out soon.

That is partly why kits are kits for 8 moons and cats usually come out in the middle of a grassy meadow, but sometimes in a forest, or near a lake or river. Rarely, in 1/1000 chance or if a healer or Stargazer in the Tribe of Endless Greenleaf summons a cat, they will appear near the Tribe of Endless Greenleaf's territory.
