The hekseri are a species i have created, they seem to have a foot in both the living world and the ah. . . other world. Their like spirit guardians, protecting the one they've bonded too/are part of. their animal species can be anything, normally it's the person's spirit animal or an animal that represents them. (the examples i have are a cat, a bat, a dog, an axolotl, and a dragon) they almost always have wings, even if their species doesn't. their color is always dark with neon/bright and pastel markings, and they always wear the mysterious bright colored skulls with patterns on their heads. they always have a button eye that can be any shape, and a lot of them have stitched up parts. (the purple on the bat is what happens if they get a hole. a strange dark magic comes out until it's fixed) their always from three inches to a foot tall, so their normally quite smol. sometimes, they don't seem to appear, but they always keep an eye on the one they protect. they have mysterious powers such as cursing (not the language kind, since they don't exactly speak. they make squeak noises). they have the ability to be invisible to everyone else but their bond, but they normally aren't. they usually just hide when others are around. also: they seem to be weak against pure light. it makes them act odd, and sometimes even temporarily make them go limp like normal dolls. A good way to get rid of them if you can use this type of magic. They often appear around sunset till sunrise, and disappear for most of the day unless they know their bond is in danger/they are too stubborn to follow the rules (also hekseri means witchcraft in danish. thanks, google. anyway yes. scratch why do you hate my art) (also before you ask, idk why i made the doggo look sad. idk, but i want to give them headpats) update: holy heckin golly gee, wHy ThE hEcK tHaT wItHiN THE HALF HOUR i post it already has FoUr LoVeS?!
