EDIT: This is quite chaotic. Reading through this it's literally just my thoughts vomiting onto the page, sorry if that's a little unorganized. If you don't like messy talk, I suggest you leave this project. Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well. Now before I do anything, I think I might just tell a little story. These past couple of weeks haven't been very kind, had a botched audition for the arts school I go to (not getting in for next year), grades have been dropping, stress has been rising. 2021 hasn't had the best start, which is why you haven't been hearing from me too often. But I think it's important and this is probably cliche by now but we'll get through this together. Life has been throwing a lot of surprises for a while now and I personally believe that it hit us so hard because we weren't ready. I don't know what could have prepared us for what was 2020 but we adjusted, and we pulled through it. I heard a question recently that got me thinking: what is reality? Reality is chaotic, reality is unexpected, reality is tragic, it's beautiful, it's infuriating, it's everything and anything. All but realistic. The only thing we can really do to combat this and not let it hurt us is to be a little more open minded of what may seem unusual. Through that we can learn, education is the only thing that dominates ignorance. Ignorance leads to hate, and discrimination. We all have good in us, why not we try this year to put the best of ourselves out there. And through that, maybe we could help and make the world a little bit of a better place.
It's a very, very mad world we live in. A beautiful one, though. But there's all kinds of madness, many beautiful in their own ways. (Like myself c: ) Reality is like that for a reason, go out and enjoy it. Stay gold, River (I do not own the song. It was written by Ronald Orzabal of Tears For Fears, sung by Gary Jules, taken from the movie Donnie Darko)
