I watched Hamilton for the first time ever right before Christmas(I know I'm late) and ever since then, I have been repetitively listening to all of the music. If you haven't watched Hamilton, you should, like right now. All the quotes are from Hamilton, here's a brief summary of each one: 1. I'm not throwing away my shot-Alexander Hamilton(Lin-Manuel Miranda): I did this one because I mean, this is heard over and over again in the movie and musical and is basically Hamilton's motto 2. I am the one thing in life I can control-Aaron Burr(Leslie Odom Jr.):I did this one because I feel like it's so important to remember. It's probably one of my favorite lines in the whole thing. 3. I am inimitable, I am original-Aaron Burr(Leslie Odom Jr.): This quote is from the same song as the previous one but I think it's just as important to remember. You are original. 4. There's a million things I haven't done. Just you wait-Alexander Hamilton(Lin-Manuel Miranda): I love this quote because of how motivated it makes you. It's like, I haven't done so many things but watch out world. 5. Talk less, smile more-Aaron Burr(Leslie Odom Jr.): I actually don't really like this quote because I personally think that you should stand up for what you believe in and not just sit still, smiling. I chose to do this quote because I felt as if it's an important enough part to the story and it would be fun to put in calligraphy 6. and Peggy...-Peggy Schuyller(Jasmine Cephas Jones): This one is just self explanatory. 7. Rise up-Alexander Hamiton(Lin-Manuel Miranda): I decided to do this quote because you do just have to rise up in life and if you don't... Credits- 《 All art and hand lettering/calligraphy/whatever you want to call it is by me. Please don't steal it. I worked really hard. Like really hard. 《 All quotes are from Hamilton the musical/musical that got turned into a movie by Lin-Manuel Miranda Should I do a part two? I feel like I might do one. We need some more girl power and quotes from people other than Hamilton(even though that's the name of it) and Burr(another very important character to the plot)
