I made it choppy so you can see each frame better. so basically I learned this in Biology, and I thought why not animate it? so uh.. ima rant in the description about this Interphase: This is the First Stage of the Cell Cycle. its where the cell caries out its basic functions and copies DNA. the Blue Blob is the Nucleus, and inside of it is strands of chromatin, and those orange sticks are called centrioles, and currently they are creating spindle fibers. Mitosis: Mitosis is the second Stage of the Cell Cycle. You wont see an individual Mitosis frame, because it is split into four different phases, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase. Prophase (Mitosis): Prophase is the first phase of Mitosis. Here the nuclear membrane starts to fade, and the chromatin organizes itself into sister chromatids, held together by a centromere. the centrioles are now on opposite sides of the cell. Metaphase (Mitosis): in Metaphase, the sister chromatids line up in the center of the cell, and spindle fibers attach to them. Anaphase (Mitosis): in Anaphase, the spindle fibers pull the sister chromatids apart into daughter chromosomes and pull them away from the middle to opposite sides of the cell. Telophase (Mitosis): This is the last phase of Mitosis. here the cell is beginning to pinch, and two new nuclei are being formed Cytokinesis: Cytokinesis is the last Stage of the Cell Cycle. here the cell splits into two separate daughter cells. after the cells are split, they immediately go into Interphase. Yes i wrote that all down by memory. ima nerd.
