[Scroll past paragraph for instructions] Soo this is a game I've been working on very very slowly for such a long time now. In my opinion this is the kind of thing I should have been able to make in a couple months but like I was just slowly chipping away at it I guess. Anyways I was thinking that people could remix this project and add their own (digital) drawings of plants or flowers and I could add them to the win screen for a little more variety! If you would like to see more instructions on how to do that scroll down all the way past the instructions please ^^ Instructions: - Use right, left, up, and down arrow keys (sorry no WASD) or on mobile use touch screen to drag your character around. - Avoid obstacles, reach checkpoints, and guide your seed to safety. - Branches are checkpoints. - Birds and butterflies kill you and respawn you at your last checkpoint. - Leaves bump you in one direction and cause you to be unable to control your seed while being bumped. - Wind pushes you in one direction. - Please don't spam click for a random reason, it can sometimes bug out some things in the game! Or do I guess it's you're choice not mine :^ Instructions for Remixing (to have your art added to win screen): - Remix this project with a digital drawing of a dandelion or other plant. All I ask is that you make it work thematically with the game! If I don't think it works quite right with my idea for what the final screen should be like I might not choose to add it. - If possible have your drawing on a costume that has a completely transparent background. Otherwise have the costume's background be one solid color. (This background issue is the main reason that the drawings have to be digital and can't be a photo of a traditional work) - Delete all other sprites when you remix (just to make it easier for you). I've added the win screen background in one of the costumes in the "Stages" section in case you'd like to switch the background to it when drawing or sharing the drawing. - Please no animations or anything other than a static photo. - Feel free to do more than one drawing! I hope I can get a couple more plants out of this! I'd love to see our community garden grow :D This isn't the best or most innovative project I've ever made but figuring out the physics of it was quite a challenge for me. I did figure something out in the end so I'm proud of that!
- Art and code by me. Feel free to use anything I made in your own projects with credit! - Music: "Ambient Piano & Strings" by ZakharValaha on Pixabay. I'm kind of iffy on whether or not this one fits the tone I'm going for.) I think this idea spawned out of a featured Scratch Project I saw a while ago that had something to do with sky and wind but I have no idea how to find it anymore lol Ty to whoever made it though!
