Napstablook in the ruins will refuse to talk to frisk and the way to get past him is with [Act: entertain] then you can spare or talk and if you do befriend napstablook they will start to look more normal. Napstablook doesn't hate Mettaton but despises them and calls them to belittle them for fighting the human.
