Hello my peeps! I did some c o d i n g, and made a project to help people identify what tone tag/indicator they have seen! (I'm also trying to make a project about helping people use the right tone tags! It's hard-) ------------------ Just hit the flag, then type in what tone tag you're looking for! Make sure to include the slash. Example, type in "/s" Not, "s" ---- If the one you're looking for doesn't show up, please tell me in the comments! Then I can make sure it's on my list of ones to add ---- I'm still adding more, but I excluded some that shouldn't really be used on Scratch ^^ ------------------ Tone Indicators/Tone Tags are really helpful so you don't accidentally send the wrong kind of message to someone. What you see as a joke, someone else could see as an insult. They really help neurodivergent people who can have trouble understanding the tone of a written message. Personally, tone indicators are really helpful for me because I sometimes have trouble understanding the intent of a comment. (I've mistaken song lyrics for vents way too many times-) -------------------- You don't have to use tone indicators all the time. If you're texting a good friend, or writing an essay for a teacher, there's no need for them! If you're writing something that could be taken as serious, or controversial I would highly suggest using them. Especially if you're typing in a place where lots of people can see it, and could cause people to be upset if taken the wrong way. ------------------------- I am looking for better examples than the ones I put XD I'm bad at examples- If you have any good ones, put them in the comments and I'll put them in the project!
