Raise your affection level with the puppy by petting it, feeding it, and play with it! Press F to show a biscuit. Move your mouse cursor to the puppy to feed it. This will grant a base +15 affection. However, the amount of affection gained for feeding it will decrease each time by 2.5 affection. Meaning if you feed it the first time and you get +15 affection, the next time will be 15-2.5 which is 12.5. The maximum amount of affection you get out of this is 52.5 before the puppy gets full. When you see a ball on the left you can drag it up and drop it for +2.5 affection (infinite amount of uses). Petting it can be done by holding down your mouse button while stroking the puppy! Only grants 1 affection point (or .5 when on 52.5 from feeding it, just to make the number not .5) but can be done with relative ease and swiftness.
