!!SPOILERS FOR THE OWL HOUSE & THEORIES!! (very poorly written but oh well-) Whoa- can I just say that I LOVE The Owl House? Because omg, I’m kinda obsessed with it, but anyway- *sigh* let’s get to the good stuff! So, Luz and Amity, one of the most iconic LGBTQ+ ship of the 2020’s era! It’s got and good one-sided feelings from Amity, and... nothing from Luz? This is sadly how the fandom views the ship, but when watching the show, I noticed something about the way Luz acts around Amity. Below are some key points that I’ve gathered. 1. Luz likes being around Amity when she bullies. While Luz won’t let people push her around (most of the time), she wants to be “friends” with Amity when she yells at her and calls LUZ a bully! Not only that, but Luz gets guilt-tripped and her heart broken when Amity tells her to leave in the episode “Lost in Language.” 2. She /pursues/ the opportunity to see Amity. Yes, after Amity was being an abuser, she still wants to see Amity (Aawwee….).
