You only have one earth and we have to do something. We can't just do nothing and let the earth be ruined. Do it for the people who will be our descendants and for the animals who soon will rot out if we don't do anything. If we do nothing, we not only harm nature but also people. We need the other living beings to survive. Without plants, there would at some point be no more oxygen and humans and animals would die. If we just kept killing animals, we would have no pets or animals to help us, like guide dogs or insects. Insects may not be the prettiest of animals, but they are very useful. They pollinate plants like the rapeseed plant, and we humans then process certain parts of the plant into things that are needed for industry or for food. And if nothing convinces you but you do enjoy eating meat, remember that if you kill all the animals in quick succession, you will eventually run out of meat because there aren't enough offspring to kill them. And animals couldn't live without plants either. They need photosynthesis because even when cell respiration takes place under certain conditions, they produce more oxygen than carbon dioxide. That is why we must save the earth, nature and animals so that your descendants can live without worry. By the way, bacteria are also very important to us as they protect us from disease (99% of human bacteria live in the intestines, there they help us with digestion and things like this). So as you can see, people need all living things to survive, so treat them with respect.
