This is an Interactive Map of New York City (and the surrounding area). Fullscreen is highly recommended Click anywhere on the map and then drag with the mouse to move around and view different parts of the map. There are different colored landmarks placed all over the map. If you hover your mouse over one of them, you will get to see the landmark and its name. The area is light gray is actual New York City itself, the light green area is the surrounding metro areas, and the dark green area is forest and nature, the blue is the water, the multi-color dots placed around the screen are landmarks.
This project took 5-7 hours to produce. The code was entirely created by me The vector map of New York City was created by scratch by me based on Google Maps. Credit to all the respective images and holders (which don't belong to me) which are used in this project.
