PLAY IN FULL SCREEN IF POSSIBLE! You can choose your paddle sprite. The Warp pipe follows your mouse. Use it to bounce Mario off it. Don't let him touch the ground or else you lose! Each time you bounce Mario, the speed increases by 1. After Mario reaches a certain speed, he slows down.

I worked very hard on this project. Originally all the sprites and the background were completely different. Started out with 2 different versions of the game. One had Goomba as paddle sprite, the other had the Warp Pipe as the paddle. I couldn't decide which one was better so I combined the two. You can look at the original two versions on my page. Pls feel free to look at my coding to get an idea on how to do something similar.
