okay So i'm going to be ranting about stuff. 2 to be exact. Here's the index if your interested - Being Gifted Student sucks - There are no good gcmms now these days ------------------------------------------------------------------ [ Being A Gifted Student sucks ] Triggers? Most of you guys are probably raised to believe that As mean that your smart and F means that your a failure. And also that people in "gifted" stuff are gods. I'm in California so the "Gifted Students stuff" for me is GATE and APAS. Luckily, I didn't get into APAS but still, it would have been garbage. Last year when my ! depression ! had it's golden age, I was in 5th grade or something idk. But that's not the point. Grades were one of the things that made me even more depressed. [ AN. I don't know if I did have ! depression ! back then, I never got diagnosed because I didn't tell anyone except people on the internet so yeah. But seriously though, having you taunt yourself sucked. And I still haven't to this day gotten myself diagnosed because well, of the wonders outside right now. ] Anyway, I was very traumatized as a kid as my mom forced the mindset on me that As were average and Fs meant a failure. Not to mention, she yelled at me a lot because of my grades. In short, she was a terrible mum back then. She's okay now, but I still don't trust her nor my dad. So I kinda started beating myself up for not getting straight As. This is the problem with "gifted" stuff. It's toxic. You are expected to be a straight A student and get everything correct. And if you don't, people or you start to beat yourself up for it. I just got into Gate this year but the word "Asian" is also stuck with me so I NEED to get straight As. Not to mention, you are expected to already know everything. Unless you take tutor and stuff, you have to learn everything on your own. So yeah, "gifted" stuff destroys your sanity. Sorry for the trashy rant. On to the next one! ------------------------------------------------------------------ [ There are no good gcmms now these days ] Gacha heat, click-baits, stereotypical mini movies are all over the place. Seriously people, get some original ideas. The spectrum at this point is: - Alphas - Mafia - vampires - secretly married See, repetitive and boring at the same time. It's obvious what happens in the story and every single one of them ends up with like "we got married! hurray!" If you want my recommendations, I'd probably put it at the bottom, idk. But the thing is, the community is really getting a bad rep and I don't blame other people for that. Our community IS pretty nasty, not going to lie. I already gave up on saving the community and who cares anymore. But seriously, mafia members aren't teenagers, I highly doubt. And why would a teen be robbing banks?
