Nearly two times the size of Jupiter(to compare, Jupiter is more than 1,300 times larger than Earth and Earth is about 3.5 million times larger than a human), WASP-12b is a gas giant whose temperature is approximately 4,000°F(2,210°C). Gravity from it's Sun-like star causes enormous tidal forces that are stretching the planet into the shape of an egg.
