The ghosts depend on the Central Portal because they would die without the energy waves it gives off. You are still determined to escape the world even if it means that the ghosts do not live. The ghosts are guarding the Central Portal and surrounded it with a maze. The ghosts will do everything in their power to stop you. In order to escape this world, you'd better be ready.
