The Double Helix is known by J.Watson and F.Crick, 2 Scientist who one the Nobel Prize for figuring it out. But That is FAR from the Truth. Many people have heard that a women named Rosalind Franklin's data supports them, BUT that is NOT true. Thanks to many of Rosalind Franklin's Biographers We look at the Double Helix in a NEW way that J.Watson and F.Crick's account is FAKE. Lets Hear the REAL story. Rosalind Franklin was Born in 1920 in London, England. She wanted to be a scientist ever since she was a teenager which wasn't an easy career path for women back then, But she accelerated in science anyway, she won a scholarship to Cambridge University to study Chemistry where she earned her P.H.D and later she conducted research in the structure in coal and she later helped improve the face masks for the British in World War 2. In 1951 she joined King's College to use X-ray techniques to study the structure of DNA. In 1952 she finally obtained Photo-51 the most famous X-ray image of DNA just getting the image took over 100 HOURS and the calculations to analyze the photo took a YEAR. Back then J.Watson and F.Crick were working to find the structure of DNA and without Franklin's permission and Stole all the credit and published her work before Franklin got to but Franklin sadly died of Cancer in 1958 never knowing that Watson and Crick stole her work and took all the credit in 1962 Watson and Crick won a Noble Prize. If Franklin lived longer there was a possibility that she could have won 2 Noble Prizes. RIP Rosalind Franklin
