Barrier blocks are added just try it pressing the 4 key a few times. Controls: WASD or Mobile Controls or Arrow Keys to move hop on a goomba to sqish it bop under a mystery box to get a coin or 1up. 0 to edit l to switch levels, r to reset level (only allowed when in editor mode) for editing just try to press the numbers 1-9 and find the thing you want. it is going to be automaticly to build if you don't want that just press q to toggle. You also can scroll when editing to get the next item.
