Juno/Vex was a slave as a child and had to try to raise her sister Sai while trying to survive. Eventually she escapes with her sister. Kylo soon learns about Vex and Sai (by raiding their hide out world) and takes them in as apprentices Vex adopts the name Juno, trains under Kylo. After he dies, Juno eventually rules the dark, making her the youngest Empress.
