Theory #1 Monster wants to get rid of Girlfriend because it needs her gone. In the game, Monster sings in English, but Girlfriend also speaks English. If it gets rid of Girlfriend, then, as far as we know, it would be the only being that can speak a human language. The fact that they can both speak could mean 2 things: the 2 could be more intelligent than the other people, which would make Monster the smartest thing wherever they are if they get rid of Girlfriend. The other possibility is that it is a very rare thing that some people have the ability to do, and Monster wanted to be special, so it wants to get rid of the normal person that has the same ability. Personally, the first idea makes more sense to me. Theory #2 We also know know it's possible for souls to become trapped in seemingly random things (i.e. Senpai, a human soul stuck in a d̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ hating simulator) might give us a clue to who Monster actually is, I think he may have been the very first in the long line of boys who fell for Girlfriend. If it's not painfully obvious enough, Daddy Dearest is very...protective of Girlfriend, so much so that they trap Senpai in a dating simulator and leave them there to rot, along with trying to foil Boyfriend, hiring mercenaries and even attempting to trap him just like how he trapped Senpai. Monster was originally supposed to be a recurring antagonist, making his debut in Week 2, and then later Week 5, maybe even continuing on as the secondary antagonist. Maybe he's just a lost soul, trying to get revenge on Daddy dearest for trapping him, he wants to kill Girlfriend to hurt Daddy dearest and since other people peel lemons and for some reason boil lemons, listen to the first like of the song: your skin is freezing, here let me help you take it off. and one of the last lines in the song is: boil lil' boyfriend so he is kind of wanting to get revenge since he gets offended by what other do to lemons.
