That night I went to see Josiah secretly at midnight because my dad and mom did not know about him and I did not want them knowing just yet. So as I was walking I felt like someone was following me and then I turned around, turned on my flashlight and then saw that Jeremiah was following me and then I asked why he was following me and he said that he saw Josiah drinking the other night and that he did not want me to get hurt and then I asked him what he thought I should I do and then he said that I could come to his place for the night so I did just that. The next morning I got up before everyone else so I could go back home but Jeremiah saw me leaving and I said that I was sorry for leaving in such a short time. He asked why I was not staying. I said that if my parents found out that at night that I’ve been sneaking out that I would have to be locked in my bedroom and the windows would be locked. Then he said that I could go ahead as long as I promised that I would come back so I promised.
The next night I went to see Josiah but I stopped by to see Jeremiah and he said that I could come in. So we had some snickerdoodle cookies and milk and then he told me to promise that I would stop by on the way back to say hi and to hang out. So I promised. As I went out the door I felt like I needed to stay at Jeremiah’s so I went back inside and he asked what was wrong and I told him that I felt like I needed to stay so he let me stay for a few hours and then he asked if I wanted a ride to Josiah’s and I said that would be great. So he dropped me off and I told him that I promised that I’ll stop by on the way back. Jeremiah said he would stay until I got inside so I went to the door and then Josiah answered the door and I asked him if I could stay for a few days and he said that I could stay longer than a few days if I wanted to and I said that I might stay there a little longer. So I went inside and then I saw that Jeremiah was already gone so we went to Josiah’s bedroom and I fell fast asleep.
