UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: IT WORKED AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/gm0b_ijaYMQ After 203 days in space, taking on a journey like no other, it's finally time for the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover to land on Mars! WOOOOOOOOOOO In case you can't tell, I'm pretty excited. The Perseverance Rover is one of the most sophisticated pieces of technology ever created, and if that wasn't cool enough, it's about to touch down on another planet to look for signs of past life. Read more about the rover here: https://www.nasa.gov/perseverance If that wasn't awesome enough, not only is there just one robot touching down on the red planet, but another one as well - the small but mighty Ingenuity helicopter. The helicopter will be the first flight EVER on another planet, and if it proves to succeed, it could fundamentally change the way we humans explore Mars and space itself. Read more about Ingenuity: https://www.nasa.gov/feature/jpl/6-things-to-know-about-nasas-ingenuity-mars-helicopter To celebrate, I've churned out a tiny piece of artwork to celebrate the landing tomorrow. I hope that you enjoy it and, more importantly, this historic event as much as I do! (also wow they blink :0) Watch the official landing tomorrow at 2:15 EST: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/gm0b_ijaYMQ Thank you for reading, and I'll see you in the next project! -GMAT #art #space #animations Music: HOME - Resonance
