(Send them to me, it would make my day lol!) Creeaak. Thud. Creeaak. Thud. Something was moving around upstairs. Something big. Kayda huddled in her hiding spot, a large cupboard, and held her breath. It was moving towards the stairs. She could hear its raspy breath as it drew nearer. So this was it. After so long moving through the forest, staying in abandoned cottages like this one, she had failed. Dropped her guard. The Ender Bears had found her. She could remember the day her life had suddenly changed, a few long months ago, as if it were yesterday. Waking up in her bedroom on her thirteenth birthday, and that longing to be outside. She had walked to the window, opened it, and that first blast of fresh air had whipped around her face. She had leaned forward, desperately searching for more, when she had fell. But she hadn’t hit the ground.
