Decius is a cold and distant individual who mostly keeps to himself. He wasn't always like this, however. In his early years, he was an energetic hynde full of personality. He looked up to his father, who was a gatekeeper, but his father would tell him that he was too immature to become one. His father was also given to fits of rage, and would take out his anger on Decius, abusing him. This made Decius grow less and less happy over the years, eventually adopting his emotionless persona. He suffers from depression, affecting his sanity, but keeps such things to himself.
