~~~ Controls ~~~ W or Up Arrow Key to speed up. Release to slow. A or Left Arrow Key to move left S or Down Arrow Key to slow down quickly D or Right Arrow Key to move right Space Key to jump over ice holes and also out of ice cracks. ~~~ Points ~~~ 30 Points for jumping over an Ice Hole or Ice Crack. 300 Points for catching a Fish. 500 Points for getting a Green Flag. 100 Points for every second left at the end of a Stage. ~~~ Tips ~~~ 1. If you want to get to the end of a level you can skirt around the outside. You still have to jump and you won't get as many points but you should be able to get to the end. 2. More importantly, try to keep your speed at maximum. 3. If in doubt, JUMP. You can't jump over the head of a seal but you may get away with jumping over its flipper. 4. Contrary to point (3), as you get better at the game, you'll find you can control your movement better on the ice rather than jumping all the time.
~~~ Penguin Antarctic Adventure ~~ Featuring a cute penguin skating across the Antarctic landscape. It's a race against time to get to the Antarctic stations across the map. Catch the fish and bonus flags, while avoiding the ice holes, cracks and seals trying to slow your progress along the way. This is my first 'big' game on scratch so please leave a like and favourite it. I've always wanted to make this game and was inspired by the MSX version of this game by Konami from 1984. There's a chance to see your username and score on the Leaderboard. If it works how I intend it to, then there is a best score for the day which resets after 24 hours. Similarly there is one for the week and one for the month. There is a 'Best Ever' score that never gets reset so your username can live in eternal glory.
