Her real name is Rika Ekichiho(駅血保・理科/えきちほ・りか). Her given name means 'science'(理科) and her family name contains the kanji for station(駅), blood(血), and storing(保). Her hero name comes from the type of antibody that can neutralize some poisons. It's a reference to her quirk, but also a reference to hero work in general.(heroes = antibodies that cleanse society of poisonous villains) Her hero costume is meant to look pretty close to civilian clothing because she wants to work as an underground hero like Eraserhead. Her mask provides protection from some of the chemicals she works with since some are prone to spontaneous combustion. Her clothes are all fireproof and really durable for the same reasons, and her sleeves can be unzipped so she's less likely to damage them. The anklets and earrings have chemicals inside them, mostly solids which she can't absorb without turning into a powder. Her quirk is called Bloodstream Storage and it lets her store chemicals in her bloodstream as well as take them back out again at points on her wrists and ankles. As a result, she is immune to most toxic substances as well as acids, bases, and other dangerous chemicals. However, she isn't immune to radiation, extreme temperatures, or explosions. She can also control the chemicals as long as they remain within an inch of her skin of her hands and feet. She is better at absorbing liquids and gases than solids because solids take longer for her to absorb and end up as a powder. The amount of chemicals she can absorb is up to the of the amount of blood she normally has, meaning her veins can only handle twice the normal volume of blood. A strange side effect of her quirk is that she doesn't bleed unless she wants to, a good thing when your blood is full of dangerous chemicals. (That just means she can't die of blood loss, not that she can't be hurt.) The chemicals in her bloodstream also kill off most foreign bacteria and viruses, so she hasn't gotten sick since she got her quirk. If her quirk is erased by Eraserhead, she won't die because her immunity to the chemicals is a part of her body the same way Ojirou's tail is a part of his body and won't disappear. However, she won't be able to take in new chemicals or release them, and she will bleed if injured. If her quirk is destroyed by Overhaul's bullets, she will die instantly, and will probably take down anyone around her too as many of the toxins she carries release toxic fumes or explode on contact with air.
