(warning! these notes and credits and instructions are very long, if you aren't interested in reading alot, this might be very boring) Hey! IT's been quite a few hot minutes, huh? i decided that I'd show you why on earth it takes two days for me to finish a drawing, with my drawing process! (if you like my techniques don't be afraid to try it, and let me know what your results look like!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ☁ Actual art process! ☁ 1. i do the basic sketch with the pencil tool in a colour that i think suits the character. 2. i turn the opacity down and get started on the lineart. i do this in black with the pen tool 3-4. then i dive straight in to colouring! i usually use the pen tool but in a larger size. i blend together patterns in the design. Honey calcite goes first, then ametrine! purple babyy ❤ 5. I add a new layer and turn the blending settings onto multiply, and fill the entire drawing in pale purplish blue and add another layer for a glow effect. 6. i chip away at both effects until i'm happy with how they look, blend them in, and then i move on! 7. I turn the opacity down on all my previous layers (four in total) add one more, and create the circle. if you are using firealpaca you can use the tool above the fill bucket 8. I sketch out the text in red pencil above our circle, then follow it as close as i can to create a sort of indent 9. finally, i write my initials somewhere in the work and turn down the opacity to prevent tracing.
