Dear Jasmine, I remember when we were children. We would play in the sunflower field until the sun went down. We wouldn't have a single care in the world. We would play Princesses, and we would try and fly with the butterflies. And when we went home, we acted like there was a wall between us. In middle school, you admitted that you liked me. I remember your light brown cheeks turning slightly pink as you said it. We dated through middle school and the first year of high school. Then, you told me we had to break up. When I asked you why you said it was because you were moving away. I hugged you and said, "I'm going to miss you." "I'm going to miss you too," You responded. On the day you left, I was so sad. I felt like I was being crushed by a giant brick, and there was nothing I could do to stop it. You waved goodbye. And I waved goodbye back, tears rolling down my cheeks. I felt like I was never going to see you again. That's why I'm sending you this letter. I miss you, Jazz. I want to see 16-year old you. You probably look as pretty as you always have. Hope to see you soon, Ella.
This story was made for the contest above. This, like most of my stories, was from the top of my mind. Hope you enjoyed it! @Superfire10 for making the contest. @s9226403 (me) for making the story.
