Uhh, what year is it? Wait... 2021?! Ah Jeez, that means it's been at least another year-and-a-half since I last posted a Scratch project. At this point, I feel like the words 'I'm sorry' likely don't even mean anything coming from me... Almost a year ago now, the virus started to become a major worldwide threat and people were being forced to stay at home. I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to finish parts 3, 4 and 5 of Sister Location 2.0 (among other things), but then I decided to fall into the biggest motivation slump of my entire life! And that's really saying something because I've always sucked with motivation (probably why it's always taken me so long to make projects, haha). What's the biggest hurdle when it comes to making FNAF games in Scratch? The art. It takes time, a loooooong time. It's an endurance test and I really don't enjoy it. It's also occurred to me that I'm not very good at art. Don't get me wrong, there are some drawings that I'm really proud of, like the ones from Sister Location Custom Night and Funtime Freddy from Sister Location 2.0, but the only reason they look good is because I copied Scott Cawthon. I'm sure that if I were to draw my own OC, it would look like pants! So yeah, art isn't really for me. So why do I still draw everything anyway? Because: 1. It gives my remakes their own unique identity. 2. It allows me to make them look more appealing / less scary to kids. I'm not all that into FNAF anymore either. I don't dislike FNAF or anything, but I think it's a bit unrealistic to still be obsessed with it after 6.5 years! I know I can make non-FNAF related projects too, but I don't know what else I would do and I simply don't want to. So I thought, instead of keeping everyone waiting, promising that I would finish this and that, promising that I would attempt to make FNAF World in Scratch again, etc, I think it's for the best that I say that I will not be sharing any more Scratch projects, please don't expect anything else to ever come from me. Now I know that people are going to be very disappointed. Trust me, I am too. I've had some really cool ideas for future projects, but unfortunately, they're going to have to remain as just ideas. I've most certainly overstayed my welcome here on Scratch by about 6 years and need to accept the fact that it isn't for me anymore. Thank you all for the support and kind words over the years, it's truly been a crazy ride and I've met some very nice people along the way. I also noticed that my Sister Location Custom Night game recently hit 10k views and I just hit 1K followers, which are both insane, and to think it all started with me being bored and desperate for attention back in summer '14! All my projects will be staying up and you can still send me comments, though I can't promise I'll reply to all of them. Thank you, and goodbye :)
