VERY IMPORTANT, READ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway, after over three months of development, it is finally done! The Addams family RPG, again, if you want the story to make sense, you should probably get familiar with the musical. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, the story is an alternate timeline that happens after full disclosure (the first act) Each main character has some sort of thing that they are unhappy about with you, they will then fight you. You have the option to talk it out, or just kill them, but know, there will be consequences for your actions. Oh by the way, you play as Wednesday. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Levels: This game is based off of memorization and patterns to survive. I will go in detail later of how to avoid the attacks, but it is best to start off with easy, where you can't die, to practice. Once you've got it, move on to hard mode where you can't die. Press up on the title screen to switch to hard and down to switch to easy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Map: You will see a colored area after the "ancestors eternal" say some stuff (by the way press space to progress), then use arrow keys to navigate. You cannot move diagonally, that isn't a bug. Move to the character and interact with them by touching their character and pressing space, the space again to progress. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fight: Again, they say some stuff, and you get to choose whether to kill them or talk it out. Talk to them five times or fight five times to win, as you progress it will move to have to fight them six times or talk to them six times. After you talk or fight, they will attack you with a white attack (use arrow keys to move and avoid attack), or a green attack (move mouse pointer to the green attack and it should be blocked and then disappear). A tip is to already move the mouse to where the green attack will come after acting, so you don't have to worry about it. After you attack or talk to them enough, you will notice you cannot attack or talk anymore. Look up and you should see text saying something like, "oof" or "ill let you go", press space to progress into a new map area. Also, you don't have to wait until the attack is over to press space to progress. This will not work with the randomly generated thing they say at the start of each attack. Each person has one out of three attacks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Boss fights: They will appear in the room with the coat jackets, or if you killed everyone, after you kill lurch. You will know it is a boss fight after a cool intro and the boss has 75 health. Your actions will be limited depending on the path you took (if you killed everyone, you cannot talk it out with Lurch Addams or kill Fester and the moon.) They will now have five attacks and their attacks will be more difficult, but on the plus side you will have ten more health. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Endings: After you defeat a boss, you will get one of three endings depending on the path you chose, Nothing else to say here. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Attacks: Most attacks are based off memorization or following a pattern, but i've listed how to avoid all the attacks here Gomez: 1. A single sword with no trail behind it. Immediately go to the bottom right and then follow the path of the square 2. Green arrows, move out of their way and then block them 3. Sword with trail, try not to get trapped in a corner, don't touch the left behind trail, but move out of the way Pugsley: 1. Move arrow to the top of the box as a green circle closes in. Keep it there and then move out of the white circle and back to center. Another green one will come 2. A grenade. Same as gomez's first attack, but go to bottom left this time before moving around the edge of the box 3. Nukes, stay in the center, if one appears above you, move in a diagonal path down and the up, moving out of the way. Grandma: 1. You are stuck inside a potion with bones, move mouse to block the bone nearest to you as it closes in 2. Stuck inside a box. It will move to the left, then up, then left and down 3. Big grey bone, move to middle right and move roughly in a circle pattern as the bone rotates Morticia: 1. Two spiders. move, as according to their path, downwards, and then upwards as they change their direction 2. Same as grandma's green attack, but spider themed and it has more, attack ones in groups and ones closest to you 3. Scythes, move a little from the bottom, a little from the top, and a little from the bottom Beinekes: 1. It will be a newspaper, continuously move to the far right and then far left 2. Trapped inside a wine glass, as it moves to the right, don't move up or down on this one, then block the stars coming at you. 3. Poetry, as fast as you can move to the bottom right and then move up as "try" comes and down as "poe" comes back and so on Lurch: *continued in notes and credits*
*continued from instructions* 1. Big feet, move right, left, right, left, stay near the center, but not close enough to be hit. 2.
