----- Songs: Martin Garrix & Troye Sivan – There for You Lauv – Getting Over You Dazy Chain – Good Life ----- ;w; I'm a bit sad that Scratch ruins the quality of the pictures, but there's nothing I can do about it... =w= Sorry about that! ----- If you can't read my handwriting, don't worry! I'll type out everything I wrote in each spread below! Lucas' spread: To be honest, I think things would be *way* different if I didn't make Lucas. But I'm glad I did and I didn't really expect him to become such a huge part of the group. I think that out of everyone in the group, Lucas is the biggest mood. He's such a tired boi and I love him so much. Even if Lucas is a Cap-Sag cusp, he is like a pure Capricorn. On the topic of stars, I think the way I came up with Lucas' name makes me a genius (well, not really, but... ;w;) When I was making him, I knew I wanted to give him some sort of constellation birthmark (like how Dipper has the Big Dipper on his forehead.) I decided to give him a small birthmark on the back of his neck that looks like Canis Major, and I decided to give him a name related to it. Canis Major has the star Sirius (AKA the Dog Star,) which is the brightest star in the sky, so I thought the name Lucas (which means 'bright, shining') would fit him. It's ironic how Lucas has such a dark aesthetic but he has connections to things like light and brightness. I still think all of the elements I used to make Lucas fits him though and the origin of his name and stuff makes him just that more unique and special. I think it's a huge coincidence that the constellation I chose is Canis Major and Lucas has a younger brother. I also think it's ironic that he ended up having a very cat-like personality and stuff... (Can you see the little connections I just made? :3) Malcolm's spread: In the very beginning, I felt like Malcolm sort of is the most like his parents out of everyone in the group. I tried my best to change him so that he wasn't an exact copy of Marco and Tom. I really like his "stereotypical Taurus" personality. I think I can relate to him the most (regardless of how much Taylor and I have in common.) I mean, he's basically the cool, laid-back dad of the group that likes to cook and read books. I wish he was real... I would ask him to make nachos for me all the time XD Anyway, in all seriousness, the group needs someone like Malcolm to help keep the group in shape (I like to think that he constantly worries about his friends getting in trouble.) Maybe that's why I think he's secretly the peacekeeper of the group... I feel pretty bad though– I don't really give Malcolm all of the love he deserves. I think I should try to make his story more interesting to help him stand out. Malcolm is probably one of the most important members of the group though. Other than Taylor, he knows how to keep everyone in the group in shape. His subtle importance makes him special and I think I can use that to develop him further. I think I should change his design a little bit... He looks a little plain, so maybe I should just make tiny subtle changes (I want to keep the majority of his design the same though!) Actually, on second thought, Malcolm is fine (well, design wise,) and I don't think I'll ever bring myself to change him :3 I just love him too much to do that. Taylor's spread: I think Taylor is the one I have the most in common with personality-wise. We're both very big-hearted and a little childish. I really like her dynamic with everyone in the group (especially with Lucas and Malcolm.) Her sweet and bubbly personality really helped me develop the whole group's dynamic better (which I honestly didn't expect!) I feel like everyone in the group would be lost if they didn't have Taylor (especially Will and Mary since she makes a huge impact on the both of them.) Taylor actually gets her name by combining Tony (as in Tony Stark) and Peter Parker (her dad) I felt like it was more fitting to combine Tony and Peter's name instead of Mary Jane's and Peter's name to symbolize their close bond in the MCU. I feel like Peter would also do that our of his love for Tony (who, if you don't know, adopts him in Taylor's AU.) I like to think that all of the Avengers really like Taylor and that Tony would love her (I mean, she *is* Peter's daughter after all.) I feel like Taylor would be very close to Natasha, Bruce, Clint, Thor, and Loki. Taylor would probably work alongside Bruce, Tony, and perhaps Scott on robots and stuff like that. She'd probably love talking to Natasha and Wanda and easily get close to them. I also think Loki would secretly love "babysitting" Taylor and the two of them would talk about magic and stuff. Loki and Thor would probably compete to see who is better at babysitting Taylor. All in all, I think it's impossible to hate someone like Taylor :3
[Spreads continued – Piper's is in the project since I ran out of space ;w; ] Mary's spread: I think that Mary's dynamic with the group and her motherly personality makes her pretty unique (and crucial to the group.) At first, I didn't really make Mary that interesting, but now, I think she is a great character! To be honest, I didn't like Mary's name at first. I mean, Marilyn is a pretty old name and its meaning (which is 'bitter' if I recall correctly) doesn't fit her that much. However, once I gave her that name, it just stuck and I grew to like it! I had to work hard to make sure Mary was "worthy" of being a "good OC." I didn't want her to be like her parents too much at first, but I caught myself falling too far into that trap, so after refining her a bit, I think she is now one of my favorite OCs out of all of them. Just like Lucas, Malcolm, and Taylor, I feel like Mary is a really important part of the group. I think she'd be the person everyone would go to for emotional support and life advice. I think the bond she has with Taylor and Carrie is very cute and sweet. They're like sisters– Taylor being the little sister, Carrie being the tough older sister and Mary being the responsible middle child. I hope that Mary will eventually be happy. Losing Ben was really hard for her, but I hope spending more time with her friends will help fill that hole in her heart. Will's spread: To be honest, Will is one of the hardest OCs for me to RP as. We have very different personalities so it's extremely hard for me to be like him without failing to do him justice. He's too chaotic and crazy. ;w; I still like RPing with him though! I feel like he stands out a lot due to his personality and his design. I sorta wish I came up with a more unique name for him, but I think it fits his defiant personality. (He WILL do whatever he wants òwó) I feel like Will's presence in the group makes the overall dynamic more interesting. I really like how his role in the group is basically "the crazy annoying one" since he really helps me push RPs along if necessary. (Plus, it's amusing to see him annoy Lucas, Mary, and Carrie.) Overall, I think Will is a very complicated character and that makes him one of the most realistic OCs in the group. Making him was much harder than I thought it would be. I constantly had to make sure Will wasn't a complete copy of Deadpool, which was harder than it sounds... I think it's really cute how Will acts around Taylor when he's blushing and stuff. He suddenly shows a soft side and is very confused since he doesn't know what love feels like. I think he'll eventually get better at it though :3 Jason's spread: Overall, I think Jason is a great member of the fandom squad! To me, Jason feels like the kind of guy that likes to come up with weird and wacky ideas. If he were one of the AJR brothers, he'd definitely be Jack. Jason is basically the little brother of the group. His energetic and bright personality helps to balance the group out and I really like how that makes/elevates Mary and Malcolm's parent-like roles. On that topic, I love the fandom squad's family-like dynamic. Jason's younger brother role really helps move RPs forward and keep stories going. It also adds to Will and Taylor's dynamic with the group, which I think makes them "the kids." I feel like Jason is the perfect 3rd wheel for them as well. I think the group would be unbalanced without Jason. At first, I just made him so that Will had a "partner in crime,' but I'm glad that he was able to evolve as a character and become more than he originally was. Overall, the group needed someone as energetic and playful as Jason. He helps to keep the good vibes uwu Carrie's spread: If I'm going to be honest, Carrie is probably the girl in the group that I want to become in the future. I want to be as strong, committed, and ambitious as her. I feel like Carrie is a great role model and helps to balance out the family-like dynamic the group has. She is a lot of like an "older-sister" type of gal and that's basically the role she had. I feel like making Carrie wasn't as easy and making Taylor, but not as hard as making Mary. She'd be right in the middle. Her name was originally going to be Caroline (obviously based on her mom's name,) and Carrie would be her nickname, but I decided to change it since Carrie just stuck with me and Caroline didn't seem to suit her anymore... It took some work for me to come up with her backstory, and although it's not that happiest, I'm glad that it shaped her into such a strong and powerful woman. Things would be much different if I didn't add Carrie to the team, so I'm really glad I did. At first I was really worried the group would become too big and unbalanced for RPs, but things turned out much better than I thought it would! I like to think that Carrie has fun girl nights with Mary and Taylor, where they'd just stay up late talking to each other and eating snacks. I wish I could join in on the fun.. ;w;
