btw my inst a is ellzpanda_ !! i post sketchbook drawings and stuff :) 5 years of progress so far!! i peaked in 2023 tho SCROLL TO BOTTOM FOR NEWEST UPDATES Ok guys, grab some snacks and a bottle of water and sit down for this. It might be really long lol. So.. I haven't posted in a really long time (I think that you can tell) I don't really use scratch but occasionally, I might comment on stuff and post art progresses. I really doubt that I'll go back to post everyday.. I might make some "random art" posts once in a while though. If that was confusing to you, I was basically trying to say that um I won't be posting everyday, but I might post random art stuff. Yeah. ~OK ANYWAYS ABOUT THE ART PROGRESS~ It's from oldest to newest. The oldest one was my first digital art (also all of the art is on Krita which is a free drawing software that I use ^^ I also use a drawing tablet I think it's XP-Pen G430S OSU or something like that) The newest was done on 08/18/2021 (august 16 2021) and the oldest one was done on 04/07/2020 (April 7 2020). Ummmmm ok let's talk brushes! The brushes that I use for lineart right now is Basic-5_Size (edited version) because I like the sharpness of it and the line thickness(?). [Edit from 7-18-2022 - the brush is basically just a pen with kind of high sensitivity also full opacity no matter the pressure] For coloring I actually use an eraser which is kind of weird, I know, but I like it for coloring because you can switch from coloring to erasing which is pretty neat. (To me at least) [another edit from 7-18 - the eraser im talking about is pretty much just a pen that erases. krita has a cool feature that lets you change brushes into erasers and erasers into brushes :) ] For cell shading, I use the eraser and sometimes the basic 5 size something brush [7-18 - quick reminder that basic 5 size is just a pen with pressure sensitivity thing] and then for the soft shading I use Airbrush_Soft [7-18 pretty self-explanatory] and Blender_Blur [7-18 - its like a smudging brush] to blend it. (its kind of like a mashup of pencil-2 and pencil-3 large 4b -- kind of like a grainy-ish textured pencil brush.) [4-15-2023] idk how to explain my coloring process and stuff but now i just sketch and erase the guidelines instead of doing lineart (its a lot faster lol) [5-1-2023] sometimes i go in with a rough (very rough sketch) and draw with an airbrush and then sketch and erase the messy bits. as for coloring, i honestly have no clue what im doing i kind of just follow my instincts when i shade. oh also btw i got a new drawing pad on 3-14!
