YESSS IT FINALLY GOT UN MASS REPORTED AFTER 477 DAYS LETS GOOOOOOOOO Disclaimer: I am not pointing fingers at anybody, this is just a rant about animations. If you don't like rants, feel free to close this tab. IMPORTANT: ads and spam will be deleted.
animation /ˌanəˈmāSH(ə)n/ (noun): "the technique of photographing successive drawings or positions of puppets or models to create an illusion of movement when the movie is shown as a sequence." Or, in this case, making things look like they're actually moving. I've seen enough of those "animations" to know that almost all of them don't deserve to be popular. Someone creates an "animation" and it gets popular. Then, they realize, they can make more. Hence the term overrated. They then make more and more, and gain lots of fame. They stay on trends to gain more clout and host contests at unreasonable numbers, such as 6.3 k or 3.2 k. I'm sick of it. I want all of it to be gone, but yet it can't, because people don't understand the difference between actual animations and "animations". You want to know what I mean? Go on trending and see if you find the following: A random guy with a circle for a head, lines for eyes, and sticks for legs. The guy also needs either: red eyes or white eyes. The intro is a fAnCy dubstep intro with ear bleeding music, and their outro is asking for clout. The animation is either very smooth with little frames, or not even animation. They spam tags in the title and in the Notes and Credits. Most of the tags don't even belong there. (for instance, how is an animation that doesn't have actual art in it trending on art?) The thumbnail uses cooltext font, too. Go on, do it. You see it? How many? You say basically the entire page? Congratulations, the entire page of animations on trending are basically what I listed above. That's about the end of this rant. Bye.
