The three kept each other going in the household of their ab*sive parent. Their father lazed around, neglected the kids, verbally ab*sed them and treated them like servants(also he's addicted to the adult juice if yknow what i mean). It was Dani who balanced several jobs to feed the family. She had been receiving harsh treatment since they were a child. One day she snapped after being berated for spending money to treat herself. At age 15, Dani left the house for good, leaving behind a note for their siblings. It was a spur of the moment decision, and she went on to deeply regret it. As for her siblings, they went from being sad but hopeful for their return to eventually despising her for abandoning them. Dani tried to support her siblings from a distance by anonymously sending packages of money to them(they knew that the father was too lazy to check the mail on his own; and that the siblings would get to them first). This went on for a while before Dani decided to secretly check up on the home. When they got there they were shocked to find the house completely empty, worn and graffitied, with a notice on the door. Dani was anguished at the disappearance of the kids. She tried contacting Nora but never got a reply, or even a "seen". She could only assume the worst. Unbeknownst to her, the twins' middle school teacher had noticed odd behavior from the pair and eventually the kids were moved into a foster home after investigation. The house had been empty for over a year. The money packages she'd sent to the house from the past year had all been stolen by passersby. From overworking, stress and mourning for her siblings, Dani developed a strong caffeine add*ction. In public they put on a calm composure. She rarely sleeps. also pspsps fyi the anger from years of toleration was kinda building up to their decision if dani leaving home in the meme seemed too sudden Nora and Jax: -10 yrs old at the time of Dani's departure -currently 14 years old -twins -nora likes blue, jax likes orange -nora has heightened emotions, so she was the one who was harshly affected when dani left. -jax was always the level headed one, so even after nora had begun to hate their sister, he still tried to hope for the best. however now he tries not to think about it.
