Click the background to change steps. ~What is Hinamatsuri or Girls Festival~ In Japan, and worldwide, March 3rd is celebrated as Girls Festival, or in Japan, Hinamatsuri. In Japan, we celebrate by putting up Hina dolls and eating Hina Arare. Hina Arare are colored rice ball puffs. They're delicious! We also put up peach flowers. There is a song called, Hinamatsuri. In Japan, we sing it to celebrate and have fun. The song is a little sorrow though. Hinamatruri is also the Girls Festival. Well, what about the boys? Boys Festival is on May 5th, which is also Children's Day. We'll be waiting for it!
