Warning!!! This story may not be suitable for kids under the age of 10. Please take caution as this story mentions gore and has violent themes. I am not responsible for any nightmares or paranoia as I have given you a warning. The figure comes closer. I scream, hoping someone, anyone would help me. But it just kept coming closer...and closer... until... "AAAAAAAHHHHH!" I wake up with sweat on my face. That's the second nightmare I've had this week. Ever since I lost a tooth, I've been having nightmares about the Tooth Fairy. I know it's silly, but think about it: It's a creature sneaking into your room in the dead of night uninvited. It reaches under your pillow and steals your teeth, and has the nerve to leave one measly dollar. If that's not terrifying, I don't know what is. I sigh and get up to go to the kitchen. As I'm getting some leftover pizza from the fridge, I see a figure. It's shaped like the one from my dream. Could it be... no. No, it can't be. Of course not. C'mon, Orion, it's just your imagination. Once I'm done with my pizza, I walk back to my room and flop down on my bed. I look out my window and I see the figure again! This can't be real. I pull my cover over my head and shut my eyes tight. Every day, I keep seeing the figure everywhere. I'm starting to hear voices now. "Let me see you grin, girl. Let me rip out your teeth," It repeats. That sentence rings in my head, day and night like a never-ending alarm. I shout in my bedroom, telling it to shut up, to leave me alone. I bang my head against the wall every day, trying to make it stop. But it won't. It just leaves a big, bleeding bruise. I can't sleep at night. The voice seems to be louder at that time. I go outside to clear my head. My eyes make out a figure in the dark. That's when I lose it. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" I yell. "I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! YOU'RE DRIVING ME CRAZY! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT, YOU MONSTER?" I throw a patch of grass at the creature. Then, faster than my eyes could comprehend, the monster ran up to me, making a terrible screeching noise. It started to pull my mouth into a smile. Then, it grinned. "I'm going to see you grin, girl. I'm going to rip out your teeth," It said. And it did what it promised. It ripped out my teeth. One. by. one. The pain was unbearable. I screamed and squirmed, trying to save my remaining teeth, but it didn't work. Soon, it stopped. The monster was gone. The voices were gone too. I sobbed in despair. I was a bleeding, toothless, traumatized heap on the ground. I closed my eyes hoping I would die. And I did.
