You were thinking about "how the dance was only ONE WEEK AWAY, and you are not the best dancer. Kuroo offered to help, but you were going WITH him to the dance, so dancing with him before might not be the best idea. now for what color we will wear..." "hey, you good y/n?! you seem a little lost in your thoughts"-kuroo "eek, i mean, i'm good" "ok, same spot for lunch guys?!"-kuroo "mhm"-y/n "ok! see you guys later!" kuroo said, but before he left the both of you, he winked at you. making your heart flutter, your face go red, and the butterflies in your stomach start to get frantic. you hurry to class, because the bells start ringing, signaling class starting in 5 minutes. AFTER A BORING DAY OF CLASSES, THINKING ABOUT KUROO, AND AN AWKWARD LUNCH, SCHOOL FINALLY ENDED! when you got home for dinner you asked your mom "mom, do you know how to slow dance?!" she replied with "yes, of course, wait- do you already have a date for your school's up-coming dance?!" you felt your face go red "well, yeah..." "yay! who is the boy?! is it someone i know?!" you blush even more "yeah, its Kuroo..." "yes! ok, so you don't know how to dance, at all?!" "no, not really..." "ok! lets get started right after dinner! also, you need a drss, we can go shopping tomorrrow for one!" "wow, mom is really happy about this," you think AFTER A LONG NIGHT OF DANCING, STEPPING O YOUR MOM'S FEET, AND DYING, YOUR FINALLY READY FOR THE DANCE... you wake up the next morning thinking, "ohmygosh only 6 more days!" you and your mom go shpping for a drees, and you two pick out a navy blue long-sleeve dress, with sparkles, the sparkles are like, little stars. THE NEXT FIVE DAYS GO IN A FLASH! and suddenly, it is monday, the day of the dance. everything is ready for you to get ready that night as you leave for practice that morning. you step into the gym, only to realize, you are the first on there. "wow," you say out loud "it is never this quiet..." you sit down in the gym and wait for someone to help you with the nets and stuff, so you just sit there and listen to music. so you don't hear kenma enter the gym. you do see him sit right next to you though. you decide in your head. "i'm gonna make some conversation" "hey kenma!" you say "hey" "do you have date to the dance?!" "no, i am not going" "oh, ok." and you two settle into a silence. soon people come into the gym(including kuroo) and they start practice AFTER PRACTICE AND SCHOOL...
