Welcome to Southern's Train Simulator Pro on Scratch! In this project, you can take control of two types of Southern's trains: BR Class 377 BR Class 455 First, an introduction of the logo appears on screen for special effects. You will then see a class 377 appear on screen. Controls: To switch to the other train, press the one indicated at the top of the screen. To open the train doors, press the open icon and to close, press the close icon both indicated at top. You will also see an AWS icon at the top. Press it to switch the automatic warning system on, and once on, press it again to switch it off. When you switch it on, the alarm will sound continuously until you press three keys together. AWS confirm - Key A, W & S. Throttle: Up arrow - ascend throttle Down arrow - descend throttle Power gear Neutral gear - you start here Brake gear Emergency brake gear Spacebar - Horn low B key - Horn high V - Whistle (only works for class 377) Speed limit: A speed limit variable will appear once your train is going. You will be given some distance before the speed limit changes. When the distance reaches 30, the AWS will chime once if you are equal to or below the next speed limit. The AWS will sound continuously if you are above the next speed limit (until you press the three keys or when the limit changes). So, be sure to follow the speed limit otherwise emergency brake will automatically occur if you overspeed! Extras: Neutral gear will be automatically selected if the train has reached its maximum limit. BR Class 377 (100MPH) BR Class 455 (75MPH) An opposite train will pass by while your train is at speed. There is a self-operating variable around 30MPH. When you brake to 30MPH, your train will automatically stop and you will see platforms merging on. The four variables at the top left tell you details about the train. There is a variable for the AWS and the distance of the speed limit. Please enjoy this simulator!
