yeeee i loved today's daily very fun!! :D so here's is Lucien's aesthetic (at least at the beginning of the story ;) ) Lucien's long-time partner died from a terminal disease. They had been together four years but hadn't known about the cancer tumor until five months before she died. She remains unnamed for the entire book. Lucien was planning on proposing before they had learned about the disease. He decided to hold off since he thought it would be harder to lose a wife than a girlfriend, but this backfired and he ended up feeling more burdened and grieved with an engagement ring never used in his pocket. Sooo yeah sorry that's a bit sad, just trying to explain why the aesthetic is really sad n' gray. It shows how Lucien views the world after her death.
