So I had to make a project in Family and Consumer Science. The project was that I had to make a video explaining how to make an original recipe of mine and so I did this. *WARNING* This project is bad. Like, v e r y bad.
Here's how to make Grandma Mary's Pumpkin Cookies: Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Using a fork, cream 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter and 1 cup of sugar together. Then, blend in these ingredients so it is a thick, cream-like substance; -1 cup of canned pumpkin -1 teaspoon of vanilla extract -1 egg After, put these ingredients in a seperate bowl in any order; -2 cups of flour -1 teaspoon of baking powder -1 teaspoon of baking soda -1 teaspoon of cinnamon -A dash of salt. Mix the two bowls together. Scoop out onto an un-greased cookie sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes. They should come out soft and round, not firm and flat like a chocolate chip cookie. This recipe makes about 3 and a half dozen cookies. While the cookies are in the oven, you can start making the icing. Mix/beat these together until they become smooth: -1 and 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar (powdered sugar) -2 tablespoons of orange juice This is NOT buttercream icing. It should be thin. You could actually add more orange juice if you feel it isn't thin enough. Let the cookies cool for 3-5 minutes before you put on the icing. Enjoy! (If you make these at a family gathering, you MUST label them as "Grandma Mary's Pumpkin Cookies" because this recipe is very sentimental to my mom and she said that it must be called that in order for me to post this. Think of it as a copyright. I can't actually call it that because that would be false-advertising but this is basically a copyright so don't steal them.) -Background Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9g8f8htOS8Y
