Well, I did this- So I decided to do Character A, whom I decided to name Polaris! (Note: I had based some of his story on a song called Asymmetry, which is where the “losing everything but your fated road to lead” comes into play!) Background info: Polaris (Pol or Pol-Pol) was one of the former guardians of a sky city called ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️. He had begun training as a child (even though he didn’t really want to) and eventually became a guardian who protected the city. He had slowly, but surely, climbed his way up through the ranks, and eventually gained the respect of most of the soldiers. Yet.. Fate usually has other plans. On a seemingly ordinary day, Polaris was told to safeguard a key point in the city: The Vault of the Prophet. Everything was going smoothly, and Pol thought his job should be easier.. but it wasn’t. And when Pol didn’t expect it, an explosion bellowing from inside the vault made its way outwards and upwards, and several figures sped towards the exit of the city. Polaris, shook but determined, sped after them and eventually stopped them (after a few minutes of struggling to take back the precious information they had gotten). But, strangely, people started to look at him with stern, mocking looks. Pol, confused at what was happening at the time, paid no attention to it. But a few days later, things took a turn for the worse. On that day, early in the morning, he was called to the gates. Everyone was there, looking with those same, cruel looks. And that’s when he saw the commander in chief, and suddenly, everything made sense. After his uniform was stripped from him, he was thrown off of the city, never to be seen again by those who despised him. Everything he had worked so hard for, gone. The people he trusted, gone. The things he liked doing, gone. Yet... he didn’t expect one other thing. As he fell, he started to see what seemed to be TV static coming from his palms, and eventually, enveloping his hands completely. He didn’t know how to explain it, but it felt somewhat familiar to him... “If this is all we really had, I threw away not looking back. Laying down in the ground, I’d do it all. Even if all the truth came out, I save the world and bring it down, not a thing would’ve changed for us at dawn. Held by a slipping hand, My fated road to lead Is all I have..” - Asymmetry, English lyrics by JubyPhonic.
