Credit to- bellasara112233 Skye leapt over Brooke's head, mrrowing with laughter. His handsome sapphire eyes glowed. "I'll catch you, sis!" he meowed, trying, and failing, to sound fierce. Brooke rolled onto her back, paws in the air. "I surrender!" she purred. Suddenly, an acrid scent hit her nose, and a defeaning roar pierced the air. "Whoa! Did you hear THAT?" Skye asked, shocked. "Yea! Let's check it out..." Brooke said. "Race ya!" she suddenly called. Bolting away, the onyx black road came into view. The black kittypet set a paw on it, wary of any cars coming. Brooke turned, noticing that Skye was there, panting. "I dare you to walk across it." the sandy gray tom meowed challengingly. "I accept your challenge." she replied, turning to strut across the road. As she reached the other side, she called out to her brother, "Fine! I took your dare, now I challenge you to do the same!" she yowled across the large black pathway. "Okay!" Skye mewed. As soon as he reached the middle, a bright red car came into view. "Skye!!" Brooke shrieked, but it was too late. Skye was slammed into the cars front and tossed into the middle of the road, soon to be run over by the strong wheels of the red car, crushing his middle. He yowled in pain, and his head flopped limply to the ground. "S-S-Skye?" Brooke whispered in horror. The sandy tom didn't answer. This time, the dark kittypet nudged him. "Come on, I-I'm not playing Skye.G-Get up!" she meowed, louder. He still didn't respond. Brooke turned and ran towards home to warn her mother. As she reached the neighborhood, she got her mother and explained the news. Brooke's mom's, who was known as Queenie, eyes flashed with rage, and she slashed a claw across Brooke's face, hissing. "Get out. You have caused enough with your childish games." she snarled. Brooke stepped back from the growling queen, and ran into the forest.
