Sorry its a little late! Scroll down to see the bios of everybody! Malala Yousafzai: Malala was born in Pakistan on July 12. She had a fairly good childhood, and her father ran a school for girls, and she went to it. But then, the Taliban took control. They made a law that informed that girls could NOT go to school. Malala thought that was crazy and unfair, so...she kept on going to school. One day, when she was on the school bus, the Taliban entered. They s*ot Malala 3 times on the head, and she passed out. Even though the Taliban almost killed her, and that she was very, very lucky to survive, Malala kept on fighting. She makes speeches and even wrote her own book, I Am Malala. Temple Grandin: Mary Temple Grandin, Better known as Temple Grandin, was born in Boston, on August 12. She is autistic, and as a child, that was very hard for her. She did not talk till she was four, and when her mother found out about her Autism, she was devastated. The doctor recomended taking Temple to a place for insane people. Her mother dissagreed, and its good she did. Temple grew up with a photographic memory, but nobody understood how smart she was. Finally, in high school, one teacher discovered her smarts. He educated her more, and told Temple's mother about how smart she was. Went Temple went to collage, she decided to do animal studies. She always felt like she had a connection with animals, especially cows. She could feel the heartbeat, and could tell when the cows felt scared, and when they felt happy. She graduated, and moved on to work at a farm, with other men. The men underestimated her, because she was female, AND autistic. They even spilled cow guts on her car! But when Temple saw how the farmers washed the cows, she realized it made the cows scared and...well, some cows died in the process. She came up with an idea to make the cows feel at ease when they were getting washed. And today, her "idea" is used in 90% of the farms in america. Amanda Gorman: Amanda was born in Los Angeles on 1998. She grew up alongside her twin sister, who was an activist and filmmaker. In 2015, she released a poetry book called The One for Whom Food Is Not Enough, and many people, including president Joe Biden, loved her poetry. In 2021, Amanda was invited to the inauguration, but not as a guest. President Joe Biden wanted her to deliver a poem! Of course, she accepted, and her poem "The Hill We Climb" is now loved around the world. (And idk what the future will hold for her) Sky Brown: Sky was born in Japan, on July 12. As she got older, she continued to skateboard around in skate parks, and got really good. At the age of eight, Sky competed in the Vans Skate Competition, making her the youngest ever to compete. And get this, SHE PLACED THIRD! THIRD! IN A GROUP OF ADULTS! *Mind explodes* Aaaanyway, Sky continues to push her limits everyday, hoping to get into the 2021 Olympics, at the age of 12.
