An Artist's Lament ⋆.ೃ࿔* Painting Cover and Original Piano Solo ⋆.ೃ࿔*: I composed and played this piece on the piano, through Garageband. There may be a few mistakes. The art is a painting I did in Adobe Photoshop Pro 2020. _________________________________________________ The word 'artist' does not only apply to painters. Art: the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination. Musicians, writers, sculptors, poets, and so many other professions are artists. _________________________________________________ It is so, so, difficult to accept your own art - to love it, and to see it through another's eyes. When we look at our art, we see all the imperfections and wish we could redo it. Your art is like your own face, or voice. Though it's not pretty in your own opinion, often others see it as beautiful. It is often very hard to send your art into the world. Don't hate it, don't crumple the paper or delete it. Do not give up your art. Art: ....producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. Though you might not think your art is good, it might be greatly appreciated by another. Have bravery. Your art could be loved and accepted. Give it a try. :) Be brave and follow your dreams!
