The LGBTQ+ community [i'll call it L+] is really popular, everywhere. like literally everywhere. If you want a community thats accepts you as you are, then this is the place! when you're part of it, it feels like one, big, loving family. You don't have to be LGBTQ to be part of it, you can be is and straight and still support. The reason why Im talking about this is because this is a debatable topic. Should we support or not? Well.... uh..... to be honest, it's not mandatory to support, but its not okay to be LGBTQphobic. Its okay to not support, as long as you respect it and ignore it, and you're not hurting anyone. I have to be honest, the community can be a bit pushed sometimes. HEAR ME OUT As soon as someone dosent support it everyone goes off on them and treat them as if they're a muderer. But as soon as that person says they support it then you want to treat them like a bestie. We need to remember that not everyone is able to support it. Religious reasons is the main reason. We also need to remember that not everyone who dosent support is a bad person. There are some really, really good people out there who just don't support it. Look at people for themselves, not whether or not they support. Like, some people say they support when they really dont. why? because if they say they dont support it then they're probably gonna get bullied, made fun or or even hate. everyone wants to be accepted. Learn to accept someone isnt part of the community. be a bit considerate. not everyone is able to embrace lgbtq freely. Instead of pushing them to support just leave them alone :/ [not all L+ people do this tho] srry if i came off as "mEaN"
please know that most of this is based off of my experience and journey :p
