This is a closed species I have created, known as Beanchias! They are currently only open to friends, though feel free to ask ^^ _________ Rules// - Do not beg me! If I say no, that means no - Don't be upset! I may open this up as an MYO soon :D - Do not reference this species! I worked really hard on it >n< - Do not make a beanchia if I tell you that you can not. It really rude ;o; - Don't steal my child, toado (The beanchia in the picture) - If I say you can make one, please fill out the form! Once you have, you will have 1 week to remix the project with your character (Feel free to ask for an extension). - You can only make up one fruit, the rest (in their diet) have to be real ________ Form// Username (Without @) // Fruit (Made up/ real?) // Eyesight // Fruit Diet // Juice/ Jam/ or preserves // Other/ Misc. ___ Form Ex// @Lumii-froqq// Starfruit (real) // Good! Introduction Beanchias (Been-Chee-ah) are small, furry creatures. They are a hybrid between a sugar glider and a bat! They have small flaps of skin between their front arms and their stomach, and it allows them to glide for a short amount of time! Looks Beanchia’s looks tend to differ. They have bright, vibrant fur that is often pastel shades of their favorite fruit. Their ears can either be very large (like a bat’s), or small and round (Like a sugar glider's). They have retractable claws that come out of their small paws. That way they can climb trees to get to their nests. Though, they are mainly defined by their neck and tail. On their tails is a specific type of fruit (Most often exotic than not). Though, their tail and neck are made up of the fruit, varying from jam, juice, or preserves (Essentially jelly with fruit chunks inside). Sometimes the fruit also covers the gliding flaps. It is held together by a thin, practically impenetrable layer of pulp, generated from the fruit. They are very small creatures. They generally are about the size of your palm, but can grow up to the size of two! Diet Beanchias live solely on fruit and berries. Due to their flat teeth, they are omnivores. They mostly live on a specified type of fruit, and almost all only eat a few selections of fruits (3-7 fruit types). Depending on the size of the fruit, they can often eat the fruit for a couple of days, and sometimes even a week! Habitat Since Beaches thrive on fruit, they are found on tropical islands (typically uninhabited by humans!). Using their tiny claws, they structure swinging egg chair-like nests. They live in colonies, putting nests next to each other. They often connect them with small vine, so they can climb from nest to nest. The vines that connect the nests to the trees are wrapped around and tied in a secure knot. Nature Beanchia’s are skittish creatures. When threatened by a force, they wrap themselves up in a small ball. If eating fruit, they will wrap themselves around the fruit (and if the fruit is too big they will simply cling to it!) Due to their horrible eyesight, Beanchias generally come out during dawn/ dusk. Their eyes are very sensitive, which means that the sun hurts their eyes! Thus, they only come out if it is a dry, gloomy day (Though it is rare in fear of rain). They also can not thrive at the night. Their eyes make it so that they can not clearly see, and often glide into trees, hurting themselves. If they are going to be provided with light, it can not be too bright or harsh (like a flashlight or fire). They must have dim, soft lighting, like glow mushrooms or a badly lit oil lantern. If a light bursts in front of them, they will freeze up in fear. A lot of Beanchia’s are also blind, due to staring at the sun or humans shining flashlights at them. Fruits (Juice) Their tail is indeed, not made out of juice. It is simply covered in juice. The juice is heavily provided by their consistent diet of fruits, and the fruit on their tail. Their tails are often not common fruits, but those found on can be rare, most un-discovered by humans (You can make up your own fruits). The bottom halves of the fruit are covered by the tail fluff and are actually cut off. The juices seep from out of the fruit and cover the tail (You can find the leaves of the fruit on the back of the neck as well). If the fruit is damaged, eaten, or taken a bite from, the juice will deplete (severity depends on how bad the fruit is). It will also affect the health of the beanchia, and they will become horribly sick. There are secret caves for each beanchias hidden underneath where they were born, some often overlapping. There you can find the only tree that provides the fruit to restore a beanchia’s health. If the fruit is not replaced within 3 months, their health will decline until finally, they pass.
