Click the button with the building you wish to build and place it on the grid. To de-select any tool, simply click in the blue area that surrounds the building area. Residential zoning needs to be next to a road to develop into houses or apartments. However, some facilities such as parks do not need to be built next to a road. There are currently 3 different wealth levels. Lower class, Lower middle class, and middle class. The wealth level of the people living in a building depends on how dense, and what level the building is. The level of a building depends on crime rate in the area, and the distance from the nearest park at the moment. To make buildings level up, build 'em by some parks and police stations. To find out more about police stations and parks, go to public buildings. To find out more about wealth levels, go to population and wealth levels. DEMOLITION If you place something somewhere you didn't want to place it, or want to mow down a suburb to create more apartments, you can use the demolish tool, found under the tools menu. Demolishing a building is free, but doesn't result in a refund. PUBLIC BUILDINGS Public buildings include parks and police stations. Both are critical in making your city an appealing place for people, and raking in taxes from higher wealth citizens. PARKS Parks can be used to make a neighborhood nicer. They do not need to be placed by roads, and will affect all houses that are within a 2 tile radius of them.
Update 3/24/19: Hello! It has been a long time since I have added anything, and I apologize but I probably will not be doing much more on Scratch in the future. I did, however, promise City Creator ISO in my City Creator Game notes, and I figured that you all may want to see what was already completed. The roads do not snap and this game still has a long way to go! If anyone cares to remix this or add on to it, please do as much as you wish. I may be able to add on in the future, but I can't make any promises. Also, thanks to shroomyJoe for the isometric snap-to-grid script! 9/19/15 Hello everybody! This is my new isometric city creator game. It is not anywhere near completion, so it is very simple and there are probably some bugs. Please report any and give suggestions to make the game better and less buggy! As this game progresses, there will be public buildings, mass transit, skyscrapers, business zones, industrial zones, power and water, and much more! Hope you enjoy!
