❀ ❁~~❀ ❁ Welcome back to another art process! This one is a portrait, and is also a gift for @asterr_! <3 This was really experimental since it was anthro, but it was really fun to do in the end!! Thanks to @Quylli and @dragonym_ for redlining some things for me <3 - - - 1. A circle guideline!! I use the circle tools to get an idea of where everything will go, usually by using the base color of the character I'm drawing. 2. Lineart! I clean it up, erase any stray lines and close up any gaps - most of the time it's black, sometimes I color it later! 3. Take away the guidelines! 4. Base colors! These are all the patterns/markings, and any other colors needed! 5. Base shading! This is usually only 1-2 layers and is very light. I use an airbrush at low opacity and blur it was gaussian blur! 6. Heavier shading, blurred airbrush, low opacity 7. More shading 8. Highlights! I do these with the pen tool and set them to add. 9. More shading/eye details + overlay! 10. Eye shine, blurred airbrush + add! 11. Another layer of eyeshine 12. Background, blurred w/ chromatic aberration! 13. Background overlays! 14. White outline set to low opacity 15. Black bars using square tool 16. Final touches/overlay, add a blurred version over it + lowered opacity 17. Move canvases, up the saturation + chromatic aberration, sign! 18. Finished piece! - - - And that's that!! :D - Credits - All art is by me Background from Google Song is Lavender by Two Door Cinema Character/design not mine Program is FireAlpaca on a MacBook Air (free) Brushes used: Airbrush, pen Canvas size: 1400x2000px - - - ❀ ❁~~❀ ❁
